I along with my friends, started our journey with Old Fort. We reached the place at 1 pm thats why we got less time in there so i would recommend you to come atmost 3 hours early and if possible go during winter days.
Old Fort
It is one of the oldest fort in our country.
Well who cares about history except some freaks and if you are here, i don't thing you are one of them. So being true i visited the place with my friends after my semester holidays, i found it little boring in starting except for the fact that i got some good pics for my facebook. It is a good place if you have your girl friend with you which of course i regret after i visited the place.
It has a museum inside which i would never recommend anyone except if i have some hatred with the person. So its up to you whether you want to waste your time and money i.e. 5rs on it.

Purana Quila is the venue for the spectacular sound and light show held every evening which we missed.
Ticket: Rs. 80/- for adults and Rs. 40/- for children (upto 3 to 12 years of age), students, physically challenged & Sr. CitizensTickets are available one hour before the show starts at the Purana Quila ticket booth.
Delhi Zoo
After a photo session at Purana Qila we visited the Delhi zoo at the same place after having some eatables and resting outside the Qilla.
Going to the right from the entrance brings visitors to the enclosures for animals including chimpanzee, hippopotamus, spider monkey, African wild buffalo, Gir lion, and Zebras. Going to the left, visitors will see animals including migratory birds like peafowl, and well as hyenas, macaques, andjaguars in the swamps that were designed for water birds. In the center of the zoo is the underground reptile house.
Lunch
After zoo, we all were hungry so we searched for a restaurant nearby. We got Nathu sweet and restaurant in sundar Nagar after walking a little. It was a great place, we loved the food. It was neither expensive and my favorite were the pastries specially chocolate truffle.

After lunch it was time for paddle boating and we all were very excited. We all chit-chat and waited for it whole day when we were at purana qila, zoo or lunch. We boated till the closing time that was 6 30 evening. We did a lot of masti splashing water over each other while in boat and i hate too state that i was splashed the most, bird watching( birds you know made for boys) :-)
Then after boating i dont know about others but i was very tired. Anyhow i walked to qila where they saw the light show at 7 30 and i slept so i cant tell you about that but they said it was boring except for the fact that it was something new. so i dont regret much for sleeping.
Connaught place
After boating we decided to eat something so we took the bus and visited connaught place (shooping spot in central delhi).Their we separate in 2 groups one of veg and other non-veg, veg ate at McD and non-veg ate at Kfc. After that we did some window shopping and bird watching again :-) and returned our place.
